Corsair hat es geschafft das Modell CMPSU-400CX in der Reihe der Spitzenreiter einzugliedern.
Das Netzteil hinterlässt einen guten Eindruck sowohl in der Stabilität, und beim Wirkungsgrad in allen gemessenen Belastungsbereichen. Corsair hat an viele Detais gedacht, ausreichend lange Kabel, Ausziehhilfen an den Molexsteckern sowie Kabelbinder. Abgerundet wird das positive Bild durch die Garantiezeit von drei Jahren. Das Handbuch enthält alle nötigen Informationen, Wünschenswert wären noch die Angaben zur Verteilung der 12V Schienen sowie die Abschaltwerte der Schienen bei Überlast gewesen. Da wir aber selten ganz zufrieden sind bleibt als einziger Kritikpunkt das vorhanden sein von nur einem PCI-E Stecker.
Der eingebaute 120mm Lüfter war über den gesamten Testverlauf angenehm leise soweit dies ohne aufwendige Messverfahren nur mit dem Gehör zu beurteilen ist (siehe Abschnitt Lautstärke, Lüfter, Kühlung).

I have one comment though, the stated wattage is 400watts so I think it is OK or acceptable to have a single PCI-E connectors since people who will use multi-VC setup will end up buying/using larger PSU.
Wir haben diesen Kritikpunkt ja nicht überbewertet, deshalb hat das NT ja auch Gold bekommen.

Hi Chyll2, in our review, we didn't overrate the fact of the PSU just having one PCIe connector, because we think it's ok for the stated wattage, as you already mentioned yourself. Therefore the PSU achieved a full 90+% gold award.

Hello Babis, it´s a bit difficult to answer your question. On the one hand there are several OEM how produce PSUs for Corsair (e.g. Seasonic or CWT) and on the other hand its not assured that all PSUs from one series are all the time manufactured from the same OEM. But in the end it´s not that eminent which OEM does the work for Corsair, because Corsair sets the standards in development, for quality controll or the used components and so on and doesn´t buy some PSUs and only prints the Corsair-Logo in it.

Thank you Faust. :) Of course you are right, i was just wondering why corsair gives 3years of warranty to this model instead of 5.
