Künftig sollen auch neue Versionen des Catalyst Treibers in Zusammenarbeit mit Valve über die Spiele-Plattform Steam gesucht und installiert werden können. Besitzer einer Radeon Grafikkarte können sich so automatisch über neue Catalyst-Versionen informieren lassen und diese auf Wunsch auch direkt installieren. Freigeschaltet wird diese Option mit dem aktuellen Release Catalyst 10.9.
