Bei den Spielebenchmarks zeigt sich dasselbe Bild. Hier kann sich die GeForce GTX 780 OC in allen getesteten Titeln an der Spitze platzieren. Im Schnitt rendert die Grafikkarte hier 15 bis 25 Prozent mehr Frames als die nächstkleinere GeForce GTX 770 und der direkte Vorgänger, die GeForce GTX 680, welche beide auf dem GK-104 Chip basieren der 1.536 CUDA-Cores mit sich bringt.
Unter Last übertrifft Gigabyte bei allen Titeln den festgelegten „Mindest-Boost-Takt“ von 1.006 MHz deutlich. Je nach Titel rendert die GK-110 GPU bis zu 1.071 MHz dauerhaft, ohne das der Chip zu warm wird und damit das festgesetzte Limit erreicht wird. Aktuelle Titel bleiben auch in höchsten Einstellungen bis zu einer Auflösung von 2.560 x 1.600 Pixel flüssig spielbar.
