Das 12GB Trident Speicherkit von G.Skill wollte sich partout nicht übertakten lassen. Das Problem liegt in einer Inkompatibilität zwischen dem verwendeten 12GB Trident Kit und unserem Gigabyte EX58-Extreme Mainboard begraben. Die spezifizierten 1600MHZ Ram-Takt sowie die angegebenen Latenzen von 7-8-7-24 laufen ohne Probleme, auch bei einer Command Rate von 1T. Bereits ein minimal höherer Speichertakt sorgt dafür, dass der Rechner nicht mehr bootet. Auf Grund der Tatsache, dass wir somit keine Übertaktungsversuche vornehmen konnten, fällt diese Rubrik aus der Wertung.
