Das 4GB Ridgeback Speicherkit von Mushkin ließ sich hervorragend übertakten. Wir stellten zunächst die Standardspannung von 1,50 Volt ein und erreichten so ohne Probleme stabile 1600MHz mit Timings von 7-8-7-24 und einer Command Rate von 1T. Nun haben wir, einfach aber effektiv, das zweite XMP Profil geladen und somit einen stabilen Takt von 2000MHz mit Timings von 7-8-10-27 und einer Command Rate von 1T erreicht, bei einer nun deutlich angehobenen Spannung von 1,65 Volt. Da die nun verwendete Spannung von 1,65 Volt aber der Regel bei anderen Speicherkits entspricht und Mushkin das Ridgeback Speicherkit eh mit einer Niedrigspannung von 1,5 Volt losgelassen hat, muss sich der Nutzer natürlich keine Sorgen um seine Speicherriegel machen. Der Spielraum nach oben war nun allerdings relativ schnell am Ende, dennoch schaffte es das Ridgeback Kit stabil auf beachtliche 2057MHz und das weiterhin bei Latenzen von CL7-8-10-27 und einer Command Rate von 1T.
